Food was good, place was clean, service was good. The down side is they offer a lotta zing sauce. It's a condiment. Now if you ask for one, it's free. But they charge for extras. That's ridiculous. Condiments should be free. Some people like more some less. Nobody pays for ketchup, mayo or salad dressing
Well we drive a bit to get to this place but I am good with that, however if you order more than chicken even if you go inside check and double check to make sure everything you order is there! We did call and the Manager Benito made everything right! Food was delicious only one thing okra not so great on return trip very rubbery not fresh everything else was perfect!
While on a road trip from SoCal to Nashville, TN, I discovered Krispy Krunchy Chicken in Oklahoma. It was so deliciously good, that I found another outlet in TN, but on the way home, there were none to be found on our return route. Fortunately, there were Golden Chick stores in abundance in Texas and New Mexico. Their fried chix is tasty and worthy of mention, but I'm still partial to KKC. BTW, the counterman who took my GC order was extremely competent and pleasant to deal with.
We got the Mixer and glad we did. It was a mix of roasted style chicken, fried chicken and chicken tenders that created a cool combination. The roasted chicken was juicy and flavorful. The fried chicken was crispy, delicious and had an excellent texture to it. The tenders were tender and top notch to us. Then the potatoes and Mac and cheese were all just as good as the chicken as well. Lastly, there rolls had a sweet like flavor, almost dessert like, yet they went perfectly with the meal.
